By actively participating in the Joint ISO/TC 307 - ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 WG 4, the project contributes to identifying standardisation needs and bolstering the European blockchain ecosystem. This engagement ensures European interests and priorities are reflected in international standards, enhancing Europe's digital sovereignty and competitiveness. Furthermore, it strengthens Europe's presence in global standardisation, embedding European values into emerging technologies. The project supports equitable representation of European members, promoting Europe's standing as a key player. Ultimately, this initiative fosters a unified, innovative, and secure digital market in Europe, aligning with the EC's vision for a digital future and solidifying Europe's leadership in the global digital landscape. Pro-bono dissemination activities will further amplify the impact within European Task Forces, fostering informed discussions and collaboration.

Bio
Ljupcho Antovski is ICT expert with over 11 years of experience in standards organisation management and leadership. As the President of the Technical Standardisation Committee for ICT 34 at the Institute for Standardisation of Macedonia (ISRM), he has demonstrated leadership in driving standardisation efforts within the ICT sector. Ljupcho is also an active member of key ISO committees, including the Joint ISO/TC 307 - ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 WG 4, focusing on Blockchain, Distributed Ledger Technologies, and IT Security techniques. Further bridging the gap between standardisation and industry, Ljupcho contributes to the European DIGITAL SME Alliance Task Force on Blockchain and DLT. With a Ph.D. in Information Technology and a position as a full professor of Software Engineering, Ljupcho combines academic rigour with practical industry insights to advance knowledge and best practices in transformative domains.
